Hanwell on Film
We are pleased to announce that ‘Hanwell on Film’ is coming soon. The project will generate a unique record of Hanwell communities, heritage, projects and initiatives producing a portrait of Hanwell people and places.
The project launches in January 2017 and will train local volunteers in media and communication skills in order to capture and create a record of the area and the Big Local programme as it unfolds over time.
This multi-media audio-visual project will build celebrates heritage and diversity creating a legacy of and for the area, created by Hanwell people. It will take place throughout the year with the aim of building a sense of belonging and creating a lasting legacy for present and future generations to enjoy.
Organised by The Art Box (from the Animal Centre in the Bunny Park), our creative team will design engaging ways to involve people, working in partnership with local groups, and people from different communities who share Hanwell as their home.
Involving local people in all aspects of the project, from the training, to telling and capturing stories and oral histories, building a photographic record and making documentary films. This depends on you!
